What You'll Do
This role involves working in a dynamic, outdoor environment where you'll be responsible for:
- Following company and OSHA safety procedures, attending safety meetings, and participating in our safety program.
- General labor duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning the warehouse and yard.
- Assisting with weighing, sorting, and moving material, including physical handling of materials and supplies.
- Inspecting incoming scrap and/or cars, advising customers on accepted and non-accepted materials, and taking deductions as needed.
