What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Member - Scrap Metal Processing position at Nucor Harris Rebar?

What You'll Do
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Perform general labor duties, such as sweeping, shoveling, and clean-up of warehouse and/or operating a forklift throughout the yard and warehouse.
- Assist with weighing, sorting, and moving material, including physical handling of materials and supplies.
- Inspect incoming scrap and/or cars, advising customers of accepted and non-accepted scrap and taking deductions as needed.
- Cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
