What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor II position at Nucor Harris Rebar?

Basic Job Functions :
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the overall development and leadership of the Quality Team including :
- Promoting Nucor’s mission ensuring that safety is instilled as a value with a strong focus on quality stewardship.
- Work cross-functionally with commercial / operations / maintenance / administrative to address customer-specific requirements, and product needs
- Participate in long-term strategic planning by collaborating with all departments to set goals that directly support the overall vision and strategy of the divisions.
- Advise the leadership team regarding Quality objectives, targets, and metrics.
- Work to drive quality and safety improvement throughout the divisions as well as overseeing periodic reviews and revisions of our quality management system.
- Lead the Division in all aspects of the Quality Management Systems including ongoing review, implementation, maintenance, and improvement.
- This position will require travel to Marseilles and Gallatin.
