Basic Job Functions :
The responsibilities of the Sales Associate include, but are not limited to; being a positive team member and an active participant within our culture while taking care of our customers. Sales Associates are responsible for customer list quotes and booking jobs. The Sales Associate will assist the sales team in building strong, durable and loyal relationships with customers while assisting in business development efforts with steel fabricators, engineers / architects and other construction professionals. They will also need to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our teammates and customers. Additionally, the Sales Associate provides administrative support to other teammates while assisting in the coordination of engineering, fabrication, and delivery of our products. This position requires the willingness and means to travel, if needed. It also may require working over 40 hours per week.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- Be willing to and have the means to travel.
- Be willing to work more than 40 hours per week.
