Basic Job Functions :
Vulcraft Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for the position of SHOP ORDER TECHNICIAN. Compensation consists of hourly wage plus ROA bonus.
- Collaborate with engineering and detailing to effectively communicate product needs
- Prepare detailed drawings and codes to be utilized through the production process
- Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize material and time
- Model Vulcraft product using Tekla to prepare field use drawings and bill of materials
- Create joist and deck lists that will be used to produce final shop orders
- Actively assist in the layout of Vulcraft products to meet project requirements as efficiently as possible
- Understand industry standards and Vulcraft manufacturing processes
- Provide input and technical support to detailers, engineers and production teammates during project design and development
