Nucor Insulated Panel Group - Shelbyville IN, has an opportunity for a Chemical Technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of chemicals assigned to production lines.
- Verification of COA’s for incoming materials.
- Test incoming materials before trucks are unloaded.
- Charged with unloading chemical trucks.
- Daily check of compressions and density of foam.
- Maintain correct inventory levels and audit monthly inventories.
- Responsible for working closely with production teammates to ensure the team follows documented processes.
- Other duties, as assigned
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft office applications.
- Must be able to lift up 50lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferences:
- Willing to work extended hours and at times in harsh weather conditions.
- Knowledge of the insulated metal panel industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
