Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products- Gallatin seeks qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist will be part of the NTP-North HR Team and will be located at the NTP-Gallatin site. The successful candidate will be responsible for all HR related functions, including job postings; the onboarding/termination processing; all benefit administration; leave of absence in compliance with Nucor, federal, and state regulations; organizing and communicating teammate training opportunities, employment-related programs including events and outreach efforts; assisting with compliance training and preparation of required reports while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness; preparing teammate communications and notices concerning HR functions; maintain teammate data in the HRIS system; traveling to other sites as needed; and performing other HR duties in assistance of the whole NTP-North HR Team. This HR Generalist role will also be expected to know and understand the processing of payroll and tax reporting. The successful candidate will be aligned with, and support, the vision of the product group, and conducting themselves in a manner that is consistent with Nucor's Mission and Culture.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of Human Resource experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Due to the sensitivity and confidentiality required of the position, candidates must not have any family currenting working for Nucor Tubular Products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors
- Degree in business or related discipline
- Experience in manufacturing or steel industry
