Basic Job Functions
The role of the Logistics Administrator I is to safely carry-out the duties required at the Truck Scales including but not limited to; weigh trucks in and out; sign drivers in/out: electronically print truck load picklists; make sure drivers wear required PPE; maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports; prepare bills of lading; ensure trucks have right equipment for the load; verify allowable weight tolerances; maintain appointment schedule book on CarrierPoint; complete scale and radiation monitoring tests following radiation safety plan; have the ability to run both in/outbound sides unassisted; assist other Truck Scale gate teammates.
This position works on a rotating shift.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing to work rotating shifts (days and nights), weekends, holidays, and scheduled/unscheduled overtime.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- AS400 proficiency
- Experience/education in manufacturing environment or shipping/logistics.
