Team Lead - Beam Welding

Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of the Beam Welding Lead position include but are not limited to: being a positive part of the leadership team on the line, being an active participant with developing teammates within our culture, reading blueprints to set up roll forms, as well as overseeing and training teammates on the line. This position is also responsible for communicating information to other departments and teammates as it relates to production. The Beam Welding Lead is responsible for establishing and setting the pace and maintaining efficiency and quality on the line. Additional responsibilities will include filling in for other positions on the line, and for the Supervisor, as necessary.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Computer Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience reading shop orders
• Welding Knowledge
• General Mechanical Knowledge
