Basic Job Functions
The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the development of our warehouse and team, working closely with maintenance and purchasing. Responsibilities include inventory setup, physical warehouse organization, and initial inventory system implementation. The role involves building strong relationships with internal and external customers, managing all receiving, warehousing, and inventory functions for the main campus and remote warehouses. The successful candidate will promote and practice safe work practices, champion Nucor culture, and support equipment reliability and cost reduction.
Nucor teammates are expected to foster cooperation and teamwork while ensuring compliance with our Quality Control System.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Maintenance degree or equivalent experience.
