Division: Nucor Tubular - Cedar Springs
Location: United States, Georgia (Cedar Springs)
Basic Job Functions:
- Perform daily walk-through of assigned areas.
- Report findings on inspection report, or repair on the spot if applicable.
- Repair emergency problems with minimal downtime.
- Record every intervention for daily and future analysis which includes maintenance time consumed and materials issued from the storeroom.
- Perform activities during PM days.
- Work directly with production personnel to isolate and repair equipment problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
- Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.
- Supervisor and/or manager recommendation.
- Dependable/Flexible to rotating shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Technical School or formal training school.
- Industrial or Mechanical experience preferred.
- Must know basic math.
- Must be able to read and write basic English.
- Willing to work rotating shifts.
