Kirby is seeking applicants for the position of Receiving Inspector.
This position will include but is not limited to the safe performance of the job duties listed below:
- Accept, unload, store and document the production raw materials and finished goods. * Use of mobile equipment & heavy mobile equipment will be required.
- Verification of received materials to established industry and Quality standards.
- Perform material rotation as needed.
- Management of recyclable and waste materials.
- Perform in process inspections as needed.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Mobile equipment operation experience.
- Computer skills to include Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Receiving experience.
- Heavy mobile equipment operation experience.
- Working knowledge of BOMs and Great Plains.
