Under the Direction of the Mental Health Clinical Director. Performs routine clinical supervision of employees within MHID who are currently provisionally licensed and completing supervised practice hours in pursuit of full licensure. |

Education, Training, and Experience (including licensure and certification) |
|
Must be Licensed as an LCSW-S, in the State of Texas, with competence. Preferred: at least one year of experience in supervising provisionally licensed associates. |

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
|
Knowledge and skill in providing clinical oversight, coaching, teaching, and guidance. Ability to work cooperatively. Knowledge of assessment techniques and documentation requirements. Ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, psychological assessment, and treatment planning. Knowledge of individuals with mental illness. Strong counseling skills. Computer literacy. In the course of being employed, understands, and implements trauma informed care practices. |

Provides general guidance in the practice of their respective profession and licensure. Provides individual and group supervision as needed. Is available to supervisees to provide comprehensive and effective support. Adheres to all board rules and regulations for the respective state board of licensure. |

Rates |
|
$40 to $65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and number of staff supervised. |
