What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Tech, 0.8 FTE position at NueHealth?
This position is responsible for following established procedures and protocols. Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The scope of the position includes explaining procedure to the patients, accurately operating all imaging equipment, demonstrating clinical and age specific competencies in performing all diagnostic procedures and selecting accurate technical factors for optimal image quality. Technologist is responsible for practicing radiation safety in the operations of radiation-emitting equipment. Technologist demonstrates the ability to review images for interpretation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technologist must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic
- Technology (ARRT)
- Maintains certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
