Production Specialist
Summary
As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all tasks. As well as clean and sanitize effectively and efficiently by cleaning production equipment, machines, and work areas to prepare for production each day; meeting both company standards and statutory regulations for company public food safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and equipment in the manufacturing process.
- Perform all aspects of manufacturing, including material weighing through processing, in-process testing, final product inspection and packaging.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned, such as blending, sifting, milling.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation.
- Complete batch records for every batch according to the SOP's.
- Ability to learn, operate, troubleshoot and train on all unit operations within area of responsibility.
- Maintain production equipment and facilities by keeping them clean and orderly.
- Assist less experienced department members in all facets of operations, established plant SOP’s and cGMP procedures.
- Assist other team members upon completion of assigned tasks.
- Review batch records and other GMP related documents for accuracy.
- Follow all facility safety rules, guidelines and procedures; wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) where and when required.
- Report any problems immediately to supervisor and participate in solutions to those problems.
- Perform duties so that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Display a positive attitude with coworkers and visitors.

- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Work Experience
- Familiarity with FDA and cGMP regulations helpful
- Experience in Manufacturing
Education Requirements
- Minimum Requirement is a High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds repetitively.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
