Nufarm Seed Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Food Safety Technician. This role executes operational duties for oil and grain samples; is responsible for ensuring the business is supported and educated to address and mitigate quality assurance risks in critical control points in a timely and proactive manner. The Quality and Food Safety Technician is responsible for receiving, handling, conducting and coordinating QA samples for testing on all crops in the region. Other activities will be uploading QA test results in a timely manner into the company’s ERP system.
The Opportunity : Lab Operations
- Execute sample plan, daily tasks according to Quality Management System and Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements.
- Perform and record equipment calibration and maintenance according to schedule.

Do you have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Plant Science? The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in similar role, conducting Quality and food safety practices in the oil and grain testing and production. An intimate knowledge of QMS and FSMA are a plus, with a certificate in PCQI preferred. Are you able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment? The right candidate is a team player, quick learner and can build relationships and processes quickly .
Salary Range : $50,000 – $65,000USD
Nuseed takes several factors into consideration when determining salary ranges. These factors include, but are not limited to, candidate experience, education, geographical location, and industry. Nuseed roles are incentive eligible and offer a robust benefit package that are not reflected in the noted salary range.
