Job Title : Senior IT Auditor Location : Chicago, IL, Onsite Rate : Best competitive rate Lead local candidates only PROJECT DETAILS JOB DESCRIPTION Audit internal controls and evaluate risks related to technology infrastructure. Perform system implementation reviews of newly developed or acquired information systems. Review and test existing automated systems for efficiency, adequacy of controls, and reliability. Provide input to Bureau / Department leadership for the development of an annual Information Technology (IT) audit plan. Establish procedures for auditing systems and update the department in matters related to systems. Monitor compliance with information and system policies to ensure adequate provision for system control and security. Collaborate with other auditors in work related to automated systems. Develop training sessions enabling auditors to keep abreast of IT audit issues. Answer questions related to IT audit policies and processes and address non-standard issues.
