JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conducting IT system assessments and providing detailed written reports on hardware, software, and licensing.
- Ability to evaluate system performance, security risks, and upgrade recommendations .
- Migrating Windows 2012 server to Microsoft 365 cloud services .
- Ability to migrate file servers to Microsoft SharePoint and replace legacy print / file servers with cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 backups (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Email) and advising on additional backup solutions.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Ability to maintain an inventory of all IT assets and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Deal with software management, application troubleshooting, and patch updates .
- Managing network infrastructure , including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points .
- Ability to monitor network performance, optimize bandwidth utilization , and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Work with ISP providers (e.g., Comcast Business) for network reliability.
- Configure SPAM filtering, secure email accounts , and maintain an IT helpdesk / ticketing system.
- Perform incident response in case of security breaches.
- Have Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices , including firewall management, antivirus deployment, and security audits .
REQUIRED DEGREE
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree

Preference given to candidates with the below skills / experience. Must also meet minimum requirements.
Ability to provide on-site support within a 1-2 hour driving distance from OFRI's Portland and Silverton, Oregon offices.
Strong customer service and communication skills to work effectively with OFRI staff and leadership.
Ability to provide 24 / 7 remote support and on-site support as needed.
Experience in preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and user training .
Strong project management skills to coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations .
Develop and maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting procedures and user guides .
Experience in public sector IT support is preferred.
