About the Role : Client is seeking an experienced SAP FI / CO Solution Expert specializing in Material Costing for a prominent client in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with SAP PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization), SAP Project Systems, and SAP FICO solutions, with hands-on experience in greenfield SAP S / 4HANA implementations.
As a key contributor to the project, you will collaborate directly with stakeholders to design and implement SAP solutions that meet complex requirements for highly regulated manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities :
Lead SAP PMMO Implementation : Oversee the greenfield implementation of SAP PMMO, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into comprehensive SAP solutions.
Configure SAP PMMO Modules : Tailor SAP PMMO modules to meet organizational needs, optimizing functionality and performance.
Enhance Processes : Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to increase efficiency in manufacturing and project management.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance : Guarantee that SAP PMMO implementations align with industry regulations, including FAR, as well as internal policies and standards.
Troubleshoot & Support : Provide expertise in resolving system-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring swift resolution.
Testing & Documentation : Develop functional specifications, lead functional unit testing, and support end-to-end testing efforts.
Client Engagement : Collaborate directly with clients to structure and deploy complex SAP solutions, aligning with their business objectives.
Required Qualifications :
5-7 years of experience working with SAP FI / CO solutions, especially in Material Costing.
Expertise in SAP PMMO and SAP Project Systems.
Strong knowledge of Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD) in the context of Aerospace & Defense.
Proficiency in SAP Project Systems, Logistics, and Dassian PACE.
Hands-on experience translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Skilled in writing Business Process Documents (BPDs), functional specifications, and configuration designs.
Experience leading workshops and managing system testing activities.
Exceptional communication skills and experience in client-facing consulting.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with GPD solutions or similar project manufacturing management tools in complex manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA implementation processes.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required).
Industry Experience :
Prior experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry in the US is required due to the specialized nature of the project and solution.
Additional Information :
Hybrid Role : Flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to either Seattle or St. Louis as needed.
US Citizenship Required : Due to the sensitive nature of the client and project requirements.
