Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead / Cutover Lead - The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive testing expertise, and a solid understanding of Cutover processes to ensure smooth transitions from legacy systems to new systems.
The candidate must be local to Minnesota and should be available to travel to Naperville, IL, 1 time within a 3-month period as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the testing efforts during the Cutover phase, ensuring a seamless transition from old systems to new ones.
Oversee End-to-End Testing to validate data migration, system integration, and functionality in the live environment.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute system validation and ensure that all components work as expected.
Identify potential risks during the Cutover and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the system meets all requirements post-Cutover.
Manage and mentor a team of testers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of test results.
Required Qualifications
10 years of experience in software testing or related roles, with at least 2-3 years as a test lead.
Proven Cutover experience : Experience in managing the testing activities during the Cutover phase, including data migration, system validation, and system integration.
Strong understanding of End-to-End Testing processes and methodologies.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage risks and challenges during critical transition periods.
Experience with test management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
Familiarity with various Testing Tools and Automation frameworks.
