Associate Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We develop today's high-aptitude and purpose-driven talents interested in a career in cybersecurity into tomorrow's world-class cybersecurity specialists.

Selected candidates will first go through a 6-month paid full-time intensive cybersecurity instruction where they will learn practical skills to defend against advanced cyber threats and solve real-life cybersecurity crises. After the bootcamp, our staff will then be deployed to either the public or private sectors in roles such as cybersecurity solutions specialists, cybersecurity analysts, incident response and threat intelligence specialists, offensive security specialists, and/or cybersecurity architects.

No prior IT background or knowledge is required.

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will:

• detect cyberthreats
• implement changes to protect an organization
• may be tasked with anything from installing, administering and troubleshooting security solutions
• become familiar with writing up security policies and training documents for colleagues

A security operations center (SOC) team likely has several tiers of cybersecurity professionals that are responsible for monitoring, directing, containing and remediating IT threats.
