Field Project Manager – Commercial Solar Decommissioning, Retrofits & Repowering

Location : Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid Office & Field Role)

Nulife Power Services is seeking a Field Project Manager to oversee commercial solar decommissioning, retrofits, and repowering projects across the USA . This role requires a 50 / 50 split between office-based work and on-site project management.

Office : Report to Rancho Cucamonga HQ daily from 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday , handling project planning, coordination, and administration.
Field : Regular on-site presence is required for active projects, including overnight travel as needed.

Ideal Candidate :

10 years of solar industry experience , preferably in commercial projects.

4 years in an office-based Project Management role.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring quality and compliance.

Experience coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Note : This is not a remote position. Solar Leads, Foremen, or purely field-based roles will not be considered. This role requires both office-based project management and physical on-site oversight.

Key Responsibilities :

Split time 50 / 50 between the office and job sites to ensure project success.

Oversee planning, execution, and completion of commercial decommissioning, retrofit, and repowering projects.

Conduct on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination with field teams.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and logistics to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Implement quality control and safety protocols in the field.

Serve as the key point of contact between office staff and on-site crews.
