Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Help with toileting and incontinence care
- Help with mobility, such as pushing a wheelchair or using a wheelchair accessible vehicle
- Help with meal preparation and consumption
- Help with cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Run errands
- Monitor health status and report changes to a supervisor
Skills and qualities Strong communication skills, Empathy, and Commitment to enhancing the lives of others. SettingPCAs may work in nursing homes, health facilities, or in clients' homes. They may work under the direction of licensed nursing staff. What PCAs doPCAs help clients maintain their personal hygiene, manage their medication, and live independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.65 - $14.16 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
