We are is looking for CCTV Security Install Technicians to help stabilize our current CCTV environment. The CCTV Security Install Technician is a professional position that installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains CCTV systems. This is a one-year project.
We are is looking for CCTV Security Install Technicians to help stabilize our current CCTV environment. The CCTV Security Install Technician is a professional position that installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains CCTV systems. This is a one-year project.
- Installs and configures CCTV Cameras, for example Arecont, AXIS and/or Bosch.
- Install and configure Network Ethernet Switches (StarTech Industrial Switches)
- Run low voltage cabling , including drilling, trenching, or aerial runs.
- Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations, ensuring that security systems are complete and satisfy the customer and contractual requirements.
- Must be proficient with terminating CAT-6 cable.
- Must be proficient with Cable testing tools
- Assists and interfaces with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
- Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational.
- Troubleshoots new system installations to ensure proper functioning and system meets requirements.
- Presents a professional image
- Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified time limits.
- Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations.
- Maintains company property and documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner.
- Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology.
- Attends and completes safety and other required training programs as requested.
- Experience installing and servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
- A vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems is preferred but not required.
- Genetec license a plus
- IP Video and IT experience preferred
- Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
- Carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours & weekend emergency calls.
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.
