Pay Range: $15.95 - $23.92 (Pay for the selected candidate will be $18.00 per hour)Internship Start Date: Monday, June 9th Internship Hour Total: 300 HoursReports To: Information Security Analyst
With the goal of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities this position will assist the Information Security Analyst who monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This position has no formal, direct supervisory responsibilities although will work with leaders and peers in the organization to drive results.

- Help with tasks such as continuous compliance, which would help Numerica stay on top of cybersecurity issues.
- Helps Conduct security controls assessments for new projects to identify any security vulnerabilities and works with applicable departments and/or vendors to remediate.
- Works with Information Security Analyst to investigate suspected attacks and recommend remedial action.
- Assists in monitoring enterprise security solutions.
- Supports permission management with evaluating, processing and documenting routine requests.
- Monitors core security infrastructure services including, but not limited to, antivirus, firewall, IPS, and IDS
- Helps monitor enterprise security solutions.
- Safeguards equipment, software, data and tools, preventing loss, theft or accidental destruction of parts, supplies and equipment.
- Identify unapproved software and conduct security controls assessments
- Update continuous compliance evidence as needed.
- Maintains knowledge and adheres to all BSA regulations and compliance standards on internal and external policies.

- Ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, logic and reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Able to work during regular business hours; Monday to Friday, 8-5 p.m.
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities, companies and/or individuals, becomes necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
