We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Platform Architect to join our dynamic team and drive our cloud strategy forward. As a leader in the team, you will play a pivot role in the architecture, development, and operations of our SaaS control plane and Cloud Platform. As a Principal Cloud Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers.

Unless the successful candidate resides within commutable distance of midtown Manhattan, this is a fully remote role for all of USA and Canada with a preference given to those in the Eastern Time Zone.

What You’ll Do
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions for the Numerix Platform that meet business requirements.
- Lead the development and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and best practices.
- Managing a team of cloud engineers to design and implement the Numerix SaaS Control Plane.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- Proven experience with AWS services and tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
