POSITION OVERVIEW

Numisma Bank is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our team as Vice President, Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on role designed for a self-starter ready to take ownership of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and expense management. You’ll leverage advanced tools like SAP and RAMP to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work on-site at our Greenwich, CT office three days a week every week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Shape Financial Integrity: Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring every dollar and data point aligns with our mission of precision.
• Close with Confidence: Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, meeting every deadline like a pro.
• Leverage Cutting-Edge Tools: Dive into SAP for financial reporting and analytics, and monitor our fully implemented RAMP platform for seamless expense management.
• Regulate and Innovate: Develop and maintain regulatory call reports, ensuring compliance and timeliness, while refining financial processes that support our global currency trading operations.
• Set the Standard: Build and enforce internal controls that safeguard financial integrity and adhere to GAAP standards.
• Collaborate and Drive Results: Work closely with the CFO to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Own the Process: Support audits, regulatory reviews, and process optimizations with precision and professionalism.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Controller Experience: 5 years in accounting or financial management, ideally in banking, trading, or financial services.
• Technical Expertise: Strong experience with SAP financial systems and RAMP expense management tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GAAP and financial compliance requirements.
• Independence & Collaboration: A self-starter who can work independently while seamlessly collaborating with the CFO.
• Attention to Detail: You’re meticulous, organized, and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Analytical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to turn numbers into actionable insights.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Numisma Bank is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and is commutable via car and mass transit from the tristate area. At this time, the bank’s team currently works remotely on Monday and Friday
