POSITION OVERVIEW
Numisma Bank is seeking a highly motivated, financially oriented professional to serve as an Vice President in a dynamic role across the bank’s operations activities. This Greenwich-based position will involve working with the bank’s global sales team and will provide exposure to and understanding of the bank’s unique business model. You will develop strong functional skills in the major areas of a dynamic, fast growing financial services company and the exciting world of international currency trading. You will have the chance to become a key player in executing our business strategy.
Position summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced international logistics coordinator to manage and optimize the shipping of banknotes globally. The candidate will work closely with Cash-In-Transit (CIT) vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the banknotes to the destination, maintain compliance with international shipping regulations and work with stakeholders in developing a global network of carriers and locations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, control and manage all aspects of banknote shipments globally.
- Resolve issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and related documents.
- Generate reports and offer routine updates to management in shipment status, performance metrics, and any issues or delays encountered.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Daily communication with external parties (vendors, customs brokers etc.) and within the bank with sales, risk etc.
- Own and deliver a country operations strategy to align with the bank's objectives and strategy.
- Establish new operations centers globally, ensuring the fulfillment of customer requests and expanding our global footprint.
- Work with global CIT vendors to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Flexibility to work other shifts/schedules when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international logistics.
- Knowledge of cross-border transactions and related documentation.
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Attention to details and problem- solving skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on finding solutions.
EXPERIENCE
- Strong functional skills in the major areas of banking or other financial related industries.
- 8 years of work experience in a logistics related role with global experience.
- Banknotes experience is preferred.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Numisma Bank is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and is commutable via car and mass transit from the tristate area. The bank’s team currently works remotely on Monday and Friday
