Description
The Wellness Center Coordinator is a part-time, split-shift position at the Gidutikad Wellness Center in the Fort Bidwell Indian Community, and reports to the clinic manager of Warner Mountain Indian Health. The Coordinator will be responsible for the complete operations of the Wellness Center to provide a safe, clean, and healthy facility and pool to ensure the needs of the Wellness Center are met.
Responsibilities:
· Open and close facility at designated hours and inspect/check all doors are secure at beginning and end of shift.
· Check/register customers in and out, track all towels by number and distribute to customers, and sell drink and snack items.
· Maintain an interior and exterior of facility by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and disinfecting all exercise equipment and saunas, emptying trash, and maintain/monitor condition and temperature of heated pool and area.
· Purchase, inventory, and track sales of all snacks and drinks, and submit report weekly to supervisor
· Maintain an inventory of all cleaning supplies and order as needed
· Wash and dry towels and shower curtains
· Collect use fees and maintain/reconcile all monies received with an accurate and updated receipt book and submit all monies and receipts to supervisor weekly.
· Document and report all repairs needed for equipment and facility
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Experience with housekeeping or custodial work
· Experience in cash handling
· Must be friendly, and able to relate well to the general public
· CPR and lifeguard certifications or willingness to learn and gain certification
· Heated pool maintenance experience or certification or willingness to learn and gain certification
· Knowledge
Cleaning and maintenance of safe pH levels and temperature for pool
Chemical use and safety precautions
· Skill in:
Floor care, washing windows, dusting, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash
Cleaning/sanitizing equipment or facilities
Greeting customers, maintaining records, and providing customer service
Per tribal employment policy, you will be required to submit to a urine drug upon hire.
