General Contractor

Job Summary
We are seeking a helper with general construction experience at least 2 years of experience. Plumbing, electrical, framing, painting, HVAC, drywall and tape and mud, commercial and residential.

Duties

• Manage subcontractors and laborers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety standards.
• Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, and manage financial resources effectively.
• Oversee the installation of various structures and fixtures including cabinets, glass, tiles, and concrete finishes.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely while performing tasks such as frame carpentry and welding.
• Fabricate materials as needed for specific project requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and construction equipment.
• Experience in cabinet installation, glass installation, concrete finishing, frame carpentry, tile laying, and construction inspection.
• Strong skills in construction estimating to accurately assess project costs.
• Ability to fabricate components as required for various projects.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes to ensure compliance on all job sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving project goals.
