**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Part-time Grocery Stocker to join our team at NuNu's Fresh Market. This role involves assisting in building customer sales, providing superior customer service, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, and maintaining store conditions up to NuNu's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and a pleasant attitude.
- Engage in conversations with customers and thank them for choosing to shop with us.
- Understand and comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines of NuNu's.
- Responsible for keeping grocery, dairy, and frozen shelves stocked, properly rotated, and fronted according to NuNu's specifications.
- Work backstock products.
- Keep retail store area and warehouse area clean and safe.
- Knowledge of items in store and able to answer customer inquiries or direct them to the proper department supervisor or store manager or assistant manager.
- Perform a high level of customer service at all times.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Serve as backup to bag groceries and bring groceries to customers' cars as needed.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, polite, and friendly.
- Able to comply with NuNu's sanitation and safety standards.
- Able to lift and carry 70 lbs.
- Able to properly unload, store, and rotate merchandise.
- Able to properly bag groceries and bring to customer cars.
- Able to work in temperatures below 30 degrees for long periods of time.
- Able to sweep and mop.
- Able to use repetitive motion with hands and arms.
- Able to operate pallet jack and cardboard baler.
- Skill in reading and math.
- Ability to understand and comply with NuNu's policies and procedures.
- Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
- Customer service skills required.
- Ability to work well with different personalities.
- Ability to work under stressful situations.
- Able to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work various shifts including weekends.
