What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Nuovo Pasta Productions?
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team from 12pm - 10pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including scanning tasks to ensure accurate inventory management, utilizing an ERP system, and operating equipment such as forklifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all raw products are scanned in properly, and the codes, dates and lot numbers are double-checked.
- Use ERP software to track inventory levels, process orders, and manage stock movements.
- Perform scanning tasks to ensure accurate tracking of products during receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or any damages.
- Assist in unloading products from delivery trucks and organize within warehouse as needed.
- Ensure all raw products are properly stored and scanned in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned daily, and trash removed. This includes all equipment required to carry out the receiving and shipping duties.
- Work closely with the other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that the Nuovo GMP and HACCP plans are followed daily. Report to the Plant Director any problems that compromise product Safety.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Proficiency in using scanning devices and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
