Help job seekers prepare for and transition to a full-time job or apprenticeship from their 26-week training programs with multiple industry certifications. Work directly with job seekers and employers. We're looking for a dynamic career services professional with event management skills who is comfortable using technology for efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with employers and workforce agencies, directly and indirectly, for student internships, apprenticeships, and employment across a variety of geographies.
- Coordinate use of the AI-enabled career services platform by students and grads.
- Coordinate the use of the Parker Dewey micro internship platform by employers and students and graduates to promote experiential learning.
- Present career services information sessions to students.
- Work 1-on-1 with students and grads to support their job search.
- Coordinate the LinkedIn alumni group to support career services for current students and grads.
- Coordinate career services events and guest speakers for employer and student/graduate connections.
- Enter employer partner data and track employer partner activity in the CRM.
- Gather career services data and report on student career and college outcomes.
- Represent and participate in various workforce development forums and other related groups.
- Represent NuPaths as a speaker and/or exhibitor at industry events.
- Other duties related to career services.
- Provide support to day-to-day operations as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in career services.
- 1 years of experience in career services event coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with using technology for efficiency, reporting and record keeping.
- Collaborative work style with the ability to work independently.
- 5-10% travel through PA, MD, and VA
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience in workforce development
- IT, tech, or healthcare industry knowledge
Bonus: A bonus structure is in place for this position in addition to the base salary
Location: Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Virginia
Flexibility: Work-from-home, travel to office in Harrisburg PA as needed (minimally), travel to career fairs in PA, MD, VA as needed.
