About the Role In this role you will contribute to the development of the Nuro Driver functional architecture and overall safety case of the final product. You will develop test case specifications for safety and performance requirements and coordinate with other teams for implementation and execution of tests. You will collaborate with Controls, Embedded SW, VE and other external teams to provide guidance and resolve issues.
About the Work
- Derive and manage system level requirements from customer needs for an autonomous vehicle platform for L4 driving.
- Contribute to the development of the Nuro Driver functional architecture. Architect system requirements and subsystem requirements, defining system bounds, capabilities, and features.
- Contribute to the overall safety case of the final product, and support safety analysis for improving the safety architecture.
- Develop test case specifications for safety and performance requirements. Coordinate with other teams for implementation and execution of the tests in SIL / HIL and closed course environments.
- Work with Controls, Embedded SW, VE and other external teams on a daily basis to provide guidance on technical implementation. Collaborate with engineering teams to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues that arise from integration and testing.
- Work with Autonomy systems, Controls and Embedded SW for setting system level requirements for vehicle motion control and coordinate with Vehicle Test teams for plan and execution of validation activities.
- Support functional safety analyses like FTA, FMEA, etc and lead the efforts on safety work products pertaining to motion control and fault management systems with cross functional teams.
About You

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $167,200 and $250,800 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.

Salary : $167,200 - $250,800
