About the Role
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role as a core member of the accounting team at Nuro. You will research and document accounting positions, manage quarterly financial reporting, provide accounting guidance to support business initiatives, work with cross- functional teams to establish internal controls, and engage in the enhancement of ERP including supply chain and manufacturing systems. Reporting to the Controller, you will be executing a wide range of projects for one of the leaders in robotics and autonomous space.
About the Work
- Research complex accounting issues including revenue recognition, software development costs and document accounting conclusions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing accounting guidance on emerging business initiatives, R&D activities, new product development and launch, complex agreements, and non-routine transactions.
- Maintain the company's accounting policies and positions.
- Monitor accounting pronouncements and lead the implementation of new accounting standards.
- Prepare quarterly / annual financial statements and associated footnotes disclosure.
- Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations.
- Support accounting for the company lease portfolio, including expansions into new sites and the sublease of existing spaces.
- Manage the PBC list and serve as a point of contact for auditors.
- Participate in close-related accounting reviews and analyses.
About You
At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $114,000 and $171,100 / year for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
