Job Description
Currently seeking Albany based licensed CNA's to fill supplemental staffing needs of business partners throughout the greater Capital Region and surrounding areas (Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, to include Catskills). The ideal candidate will hold a valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and have 6 months full time experience working in Long Term Care or nursing home setting within the last 3 years
Qualifications
· CNA must hold a valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
· Current medical documentation to include physical and PPD within the past year and proof of MMRs (immunizations or Titers)
· Six (6) consecutive full time months of CNA experience post certification in Long Term Care or Assisted Living Facility.
· To work as a CNA in one of our specialty areas you must meet client/site specific requirements.

Responsibilities of the CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
· Provide effective and efficient patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with the patient's assignment sheet, applicable law and regulation, payer requirements and Interim HealthCare policies and procedures.
· Follow Plan of Care.
· Communicate change of condition to Charge Nurse / supervisor.
· Help with activities of daily living.
· Perform light housekeeping activities.
· Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
· Assisted Living Facility only, may be responsible for duties such as being responsible for meal planning and preparation., Administering medication as required.
