About the Job:
Nurse First is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans to improve respiratory function
- Administer oxygen therapy, medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and ECG monitors
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
