Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel therapist. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat respiratory patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Operate ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other life-support devices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as oxygen saturation and blood pressure.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- A valid state license to practice as a respiratory therapist.
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field.
- At least one year of experience as a respiratory therapist, preferably in an acute care setting.
