Job Summary:
We are seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Pensacola, Florida. This 13-week contract will require the successful candidate to work 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts during the day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various medical imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and maintaining patient comfort
- Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, test results, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Special Procedures Technologist
- Experience working with medical imaging equipment and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
