What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Nurse position at Nurse On Demand?
, Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Nurse to join our team for an enriching summer experience. An ideal candidate will be on site 24/7 for the duration at June 8th-June 12th, at the Ducktown Camp.
As a Camp Nurse, you will provide medical assistance to kids if required. You will provide support, and foster a sense of safety among campers. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Quickly assess kids with any medical issues.
Experience
While prior experience in a camp setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. However, candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- ICU or Critical Care nursing
- Ophthalmology or Emergency Medicine
- Infant Care or Home Community Care
- Outpatient services or Cardiac Catheterization
