What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Nurse position at Nurse On Demand?
Overview
We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Nurse to join our team for an enriching summer experience. An ideal candidate will be on site 24/7 for the duration, from July 17th-20th.
As a Camp Nurse, you will provide medical assistance to kids if required. You will provide support, and foster a sense of safety among campers. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Quickly assess kids with any medical issues.
Experience
While prior experience in a camp setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. However, candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- ICU or Critical Care nursing
- Ophthalmology or Emergency Medicine
- Infant Care or Home Community Care
- Outpatient services or Cardiac Catheterization
