Job Description: The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the clinical staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services. This role involves supervising clinical staff, conducting regular staff meetings, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities. The Clinical Supervisor will also be involved in program development, compliance with healthcare regulations, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical staff and operations at the facility.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional development opportunities for therapists and other mental health professionals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular case reviews and staff meetings to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to provide integrated care.
- Manage crises and provide guidance on handling complex cases.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health settings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in program development and clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in mental health services.
