What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Nurse Registry LLC?
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking according to dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing client's living
space
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments or other outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
