Summary
UNIT SUMMARY: The Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary Unit (GI/GU) is a 19-27 bed inpatient medical surgical unit offering 24- hour care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse gastrointestinal and genitourinary diagnoses such as: Abdominal pain of unknown etiology, Gallbladder Disease, GI Bleeds, Surgery of the Colon, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Prostate, and Spleen, Infections, Neoplasms, and Ostomies.
JOB SUMMARY: Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
REQUIREMENTS: BSN or ASN degree; less than one year of experience; Maryland RN license; American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification.
