Travel Ultrasound Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in various specialties including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in scanning ultrasounds, preferably in multiple specialties.
- Active certification in Abdomen sonography (ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography).
- Possession of additional certifications in OB/GYN, Breast, or LRST/ARRT Radiologic Technology is highly desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
