Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and record them, reporting any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs.
- Document patients' medical information, vital signs, and monitor specialized equipment.
- Take corrective action when patients display adverse symptoms & provide bedside care.
- Implement patient education plans as directed by physicians.
- Changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, and assisting during examinations.
- Respond to life-saving situations following nursing standards and protocols.
- Participate in discharge planning and maintain accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse: Hold a valid RN license in the applicable state.
- Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Desire to be part of a dynamic platform and ability to quickly adapt to new facilities and conditions.
- Other records or documents as needed during the onboarding process.
