Job title: Dental Assistant - Per Diem
Location: Dental clinic in Beaverton, OR
Shift: 10-hour Day Shift (Monday – Friday, Varies 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks temp to perm
Guaranteed: 36 to 40 hour per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support front office tasks, including scheduling and insurance verification, if needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of dental assisting experience within the last 3 years.
- Availability: Minimum 2 days per week, plus 8-10 days for initial training.
- Certification: Must meet state dental assistant certification requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple locations.
