The Nurse Manager is an exciting promotional opportunity to lead, implement, and evaluate the client care delivered within our program. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for training new staff and developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of directing and developing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides regular clinical supervision of nursing staff including performance evaluations.
- Reviews and revises procedures and policies to meet regulatory and best practice standards.
- Facilitates nursing team meetings and provides training to staff and nurses.
- Participates in interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding of nurses.
- Evaluates illness or injuries and reviews all medical incident reports for shift.
- Collaborates regularly with the Program Director, Nursing Director, Medical Director, Leadership and Psychiatry team.
- Networks with community partners to improve youth services maintains working relationships with Pediatricians, Specialists, Psychiatrists, Therapists and hospitals who provide care to the children.
- Reviews, evaluates and revises medication services to meet best practice standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Is an available resource for questions after hours via an on-call phone.
- Responsible for all steps of the nursing process and oversight and mentoring of the nursing team to provide quality mental health evaluation and services.

- Starting at $148,138 to $162,138 per year.
- Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
- Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
