Requirements of the Medical Assistant :

  • One full year of experience within the last 3 years (names and dates of employment must be provided)
  • Current BLS - Healthcare Provider Certification (we cannot accept online courses)
  • Physical within the last 6 months that states you are "free from" or "without evidence" of communicable diseases
  • Current PPD or Chest X-ray
  • 2 professional references (RN's or LPN's that you have worked with before)
  • Criminal history report with no activity listed (we will obtain at no cost to you)
  • Additional credentials may be required upon hire or per contract
