Ashtabula is a charming city positioned conveniently between Cleveland, Ohio, and Erie, Pennsylvania. ARMC is a 186-bed, fully accredited community hospital affiliated with Cleveland Clinic. ARMC serves a population of approximately 98,000 and offers a wide range of services, including a new 115,000-square-foot patient care tower.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team of healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for an experienced provider who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to both adult and geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient care in a Hematology/Oncology setting
- Manage an average of 15-20 outpatient visits per day, with 3-5 hospital patients per day
- Collaborate with two physicians in practice and a team of medical professionals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patient care for a 50/50 mix of adult and geriatric patients
- Focus on 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology care
- Participate in on-call duties for 10 days per month
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
Required Qualifications:
- 1 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Hematology/Oncology-specific clinic or hospital setting
- Must be willing to work in-person
- Must live within 40 miles of Ashtabula or be willing to relocate
- Not accepting Locum candidates
